About the Roles

  • Primary Learner Aides - Casual
  • Secondary Learner Aides - Casual (may move to permanent)

Learner Aides (Enrichment) work with Enrichment Teachers and Classroom Teachers to support the learning, participation and social-emotional wellbeing of students with additional needs, incuding intellectual, developmental, learning, hearing, visual, physical, speech/language and social/emotional needs.

Learner Aides (General) contribute to student's education by providing "in class" support/adjustments, running intervention groups, organising resources, supervising students, supporting teachers and contributing to documentation as directed by the Head of Enrichment.

About You

  • You have personal views and beliefs that align with the Christian ethos of the College and you are able to demonstrate an active faith and church involvement.
  • You have a passion for supporting students in their learning journey.
  • You can work collaboratively with a team.
  • You hold a Cert III or IV in Education Support or are studying towards a Bachelor of Education.
  • You hold or are eligible to hold a valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
