Outside School Hours Care
Livingstone Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is a service operated through our Early Learning Centre. We provide an education and leisure program for children from Prep to Year 6 (12 years old), catering for before school care (Brekky Club), after school care (Afternoon Club), and vacation care (Holiday Club).
Brekky Club: 6:30am - 8:00am
On arrival, children are assisted in making their own breakfast from a selection of healthy choices, including cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt provided by the service. Children are provided with the opportunity to engage in age-appropriate morning activities based on their interests, promoting a positive and relaxed start to their day. Educators engage with children throughout these activities and hold a devotion and prayer time at 7:45am before transitioning to begin their school day.
Afternoon Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Our Educators collect children in Prep and Year 1 from their classrooms, who join children in Years 3 to 6 in the OSHC space. After putting their belongings away, children can access afternoon tea (provided by the Centre). During this time, the Children participate in co-planning the afternoon’s activities. Our educators will have a range of engaging activities for children to participate in. The collection of Children will be from the OSHC space. If your child is not in the OSHC space at collection, one of our educators will radio for your child to be sent from another space (Ball Courts, Playground).
Holiday Club: 6:30am - 6:00pm
OSCH continues to operate during school holidays and pupil free days, offering care for school aged children from 6:30am to 6:00pm, supporting our valued parents/guardians who are still required to work during these times.
A range of exciting and age-appropriate leisure activities will be provided through Holiday Club. Holiday Club programs are based on the interests of the children throughout the term and include a variety of themed days, incursions, and excursions.
OSHC will provide breakfast and afternoon tea options for all children. Parents/guardians are asked to provide a packed morning tea and lunch each day (unless otherwise specified in the program).
Enrolments and Bookings
OSHC spaces fill up quickly, so we recommend making a weekly or fortnightly regular booking to avoid missing out on your required Brekky Club and Afternoon Club spaces. Holiday Club programs are published 4 weeks before school holidays, and bookings are due 2 weeks before school holidays commence.
ELC Enrolment forms must be completed prior to attending OSHC. These are available in person at the Early Learning Centre Office or online (click here). Please allow at least one week for processing. Once enrolment is confirmed, booking requests can be made in person, via phone, or by email.

Communication
To help connect our OSHC families with each day’s fun and learning, our program and photos are shared via OWNA, which parents will have access to upon enrolment. All communication from our OSHC team will be centralised here. This includes excursion permission forms and school holiday booking requests. If you have any questions regarding access to OWNA please speak with a team member.
