With a focus on developing an active and involved learner, our Prep program will build a strong foundation for your child to flourish.

Class sizes enable connected learning for every student as key literacy and numeracy skills are developed. Each Prep class benefits from a dedicated teacher aide and air-conditioned classrooms. During break periods, there are dedicated outdoor play areas for our Prep students as they go through their first year at school.

At Livingstone, we want to partner with families in helping their children flourish and seek to make a quality Christian education affordable for families on the Northern Gold Coast. As a part of our generous family discounts, there is no additional tuition fee charged for the third and subsequent children in each family enrolled at the College.

When should my child start Prep?

In Queensland, Prep is the first year of schooling. Children must be 5 years old by 30 June in the year they enrol in Prep. Use the table below to calculate when your child should start Prep.

Discover 'Prep in Action' at one of our weekly tours!

Our 'Prep in Action' tours takes place weekly during the school term on a Wednesday morning at 9:00 am. In your tour, you'll meet our staff, explore our Prep facilities and learn more about how we focus on the development of the whole child from a faith-based perspective.
